About the Study

The Chickadee Study is a research study in teens with PPD

The Chickadee Study is being conducted to see if the study medication may help and if it’s safe in this group of people. To qualify, you must be 15 to 17 years old and have had a baby within the last 6 months.

If you qualify and decide to participate, the study will give you access to:

  • All study-related medical care and study medication at no cost
  • Transportation may be provided if you need assistance

A study may be an option.

What to expect during the study

The study will last about 3½ months, including a 3-day inpatient hospital stay and 6 follow-up visits. If you are breastfeeding, you will need to stop temporarily while you’re in the hospital and the baby can take bottles instead. You can pump to maintain your breast milk supply and resume breastfeeding 4 days after the last time you took the medication.

Fill out the contact form, and the study staff will contact you with more information. Both you and your parent(s) can decide if participating is right for you.
